P2P Technology Round-Up – August 31, 2017

Esker Partners with Konica Minolta to Automate Business Processes

Earlier this month, Konica Minolta Business Solutions, a Japanese technology company that offers business and workflow solutions announced a new partnership with Esker, a cloud-based document process automation software company. This newly signed agreement will help both companies improve business processes and the exchange of business documents. This partnership will combine Konica Minolta’s solutions, which help organizations boost productivity, support mobility, and enhance collaboration with Esker’s cloud-based solution that helps customer’s manage their cash flow by automating traditional manual processes. It will add value to customers’ processes by integrating digital workflow to achieve optimized productivity. It will also empower key stakeholders by giving them access to valuable data.

Top Image Systems and Parseq Announce Joint SaaS Business

It was recently announced that Top Image Systems, a provider of content processing solutions based in Tel-Aviv Israel, and Parseq a provider of business process outsourcing services in the UK, have signed a new contract for Parseq to leverage Top Image Systems’ eFLOW document process automation platform. Parseq will be able to extend its offering of eFLOW services, which provides enhanced, SaaS-based accounts payable and multichannel services to their clientele across the UK. For their accounts payable services, Parseq will leverage eFLOW’s multichannel invoice data capture, OCR technologies, and optimized user interface for exception handling.

ACOM Solutions and WEX Inc. Announce New Strategic Partnership

It was recently announced that ACOM Solutions and WEX Inc. have agreed to a new strategic partnership to offer clients a complete Buyer/Seller Payables Solution on a single cloud-based platform. ACOM is a payment technology solution provider for business users, with their corporate headquarters in Long Beach, California. WEX Inc. offers an extensive portfolio of corporate payment solutions to companies that enable them to manage and execute their AP disbursements. WEX Inc. has offices throughout the globe and is headquartered in Portland, Maine. Combining WEX’s offering with ACOM’s ePayables platform will allow customers to send and receive settlement data from their ERP and financial applications more efficiently. Customers will also benefit from the user-friendly application that is designed to support multiple payment methods through a single platform.

Oildex Announces New Leadership

Oildex, a leading provider of oil and gas accounting software, announced that it has named Craig Charlton as its new Chief Executive Officer and President. The current CEO, Richard Slack, is transitioning to the company’s Board of Directors. The changes go into effect September 1, 2017. Charlton had joined Oildex earlier this year, and previously was the CEO of Abila, an accounting and management software provider for associates and non-profits. Oildex and Charlton plan to host two customer conferences later in September in order to meet and discuss Oildex’s plans going forward.
