Esker Integrates with Stripe Connect on Online Payment Capabilities

Esker, a Wisconsin-based document process automation provider, this week announced the integration of Stripe Connect to its core product. Stripe is a global technology company that provides software for businesses to accept payments over the internet, and Stripe Connect is a payments platform for other marketplaces and platforms to accept money and pay out to third parties. This integration will expand Esker’s order-to-cash (O2C) solution by offering secure online payment capabilities globally and help businesses get paid faster. Esker customers will now work with a single global payment provider, instead of picking from different local providers. Customers will also be able to collect payment on their invoices using credit and debit cards.

Kofax Launches Cloud-Hosted SaaS Offering on Microsoft Azure

Kofax, a payments automation software provider headquartered in Irvine California, announced that its AP automation solution, AP Agility, is now available as a cloud-hosted SaaS offering. The new offering, called Kofax AP Agility Cloud, combines AI-driven capture, three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders and receiving documents, approval and exception workflows, automated general ledger coding, and analytics. Kofax AP Agility Cloud will be hosted on Microsoft Azure, which eliminates the need for onsite IT infrastructure, and will allow Kofax customers to launch and scale the solution quickly. The new offering can be configured and customized which should provide more flexible deployment options. AP Agility Cloud will initially be available in the United States before Kofax expands to Europe and Asia Pacific later this year.

Fiserv and SAP Solution Integrate to Help Businesses Improve Working Capital

Fiserv, a global provider of financial services technology, this week announced a new integration with SAP. This integration will make it simple for B2B firms to offer digital payment methods to their customers by bringing together two cloud-based solutions: SnapPay, an enterprise payments application from Fiserv, and SAP digital payments add-on. Users of SnapPay can now migrate to SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ERP. SnapPay is built to serve the AP needs of large and mid-sized companies. Through integration with SAP ERP Central Component and SAP S/4HANA, SnapPay facilitates card, Automated Clearing House (ACH), and new digital payment methods. The solution also digitizes labor-intensive corporate treasury operations into a real-time, automated, and secure experience.

B2B Payments Provider Paystand Secures $20 Million in Series B Funding

Paystand, a B2B payments platform provider based out of California, this week secured $20 million in Series B funding. This second round of funding comes from new investors DNX Ventures, Battery Ventures, Epic Ventures, Commerce Ventures, and Wildcat Ventures. Existing backers Leap Global Partners, Cervin Ventures, Serra Ventures, and BlueRun Ventures were also involved in the second round of funding. Paystand streamlines B2B payments through automation using Blockchain and secure, cloud-based technology. The funding will be used to accelerate the expansion of Paystand products and services and help to grow its engineering team.
