AvidXchange Selects Profisee to Support Data Management Initiatives

AvidXchange, a provider of invoice automation and payment processes for mid-market companies, has recently selected data management technology company, Profisee, to support its enterprise data management initiatives. The North Carolina-based AvidXchange has developed a reported network of over 400,000 suppliers, and will use the Profisee Platform in order to better understand and improve supplier and buyer data. Profisee offers a flexible architecture and workflow, and is focused on low total cost of ownership with unlimited records and lower ongoing maintenance costs. AvidXchange will look to create a centralized repository of cleansed and trusted data.

Basware Partners with NORIAN on AP Automation, Launches New Customer Support Portal

Basware, global provider of procure-to-pay (“P2P”) solutions, has recently announced a new partnership with financial accounting and HR outsourcing services provider, NORIAN on Accounts Payable (AP) automation. Through this partnership, NORIAN will be able to offer Basware’s AP automation solution to its customer base. This will cover the Northern European market for invoice processing, AP automation, and invoice scanning solutions. NORIAN customers will now be able to automate their AP processes.

Basware has also recently launched a new customer support portal that will be hosted by ServiceNow. Through this new portal, Basware customers will be able to get more support through online logging of cases. The portal also has improved usability and visibility of support case status. Customers will have access to Basware Knowledge Base. ServiceNow offers cloud-based applications that automate business processes around IT, customer service, security operations, and HR service delivery.

Kofax Releases Updated Robotic Process Automation Software

Kofax, a payments automation software provider headquartered in Irvine California, has recently announced the addition of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and other capabilities to its Kapow Robotic Process Automation (RPA) software. Kapow 10.3 automates a range of human processes across the front and back office operations. Kofax has developed “smart robots” that can mimic human actions and eventually suggest ways to improve the specific process. Kofax has also added capabilities that include intelligent screen automation where Kapow will “learn” the application image and identify user interface elements that should result in faster robot development. Kofax offers Kapow as a standalone RPA product and as part of its complete digital transformation platform, Kofax TotalAgility.

MasterCard Partners with Stargo on Payments Solution for Freight Companies

Global card provider MasterCard recently announced a new partnership with Stargo, a provider of automated solution for the freight industry. Through this partnership, the companies will introduce an integrated solution to digitize the P2P process for the global freight industry. MasterCard will combine its commercial payment solutions with Stargo’s price optimization engine to offer end-to-end transparency and reconciliation in the P2P process. Companies within the global freight ecosystem will be able to leverage this solution for faster and more secure payments. Stargo uses AI and optimization algorithms to compare changing prices from different data points in real-time.
