Tradeshift and TrustWeaver to Partner on eInvoicing Compliance

Tradeshift, the California-based provider of cloud-based business networks, recently partnered with TrustWeaver to enhance compliance requirements for all of the electronic invoices that are processed through the Tradeshift platform. TrustWeaver, which is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, is a provider of cloud-based invoicing compliance, auditing, and global Value-Added-Tax (VAT) services through electronic signature-based solutions. Through this partnership, Tradeshift customers will be able to have their e-invoices that are subjected to VAT requirements meet compliance regulations. TrustWeaver developed a cloud-based integration solution for this partnership, and is responsible for compliance requirements and real-time tax administration controls in all supported countries (Tradeshift e-invoices comply in around 60 countries worldwide currently). This partnership has the potential to bring Tradeshift customers into more complex regions (different countries, different processes) with stronger compliance coverage.

GEP and TrustWeaver to Partner on eInvoicing Compliance

TrustWeaver also recently announced another partnership, this time with GEP, the global provider of procurement and supply chain solutions. Through this partnership, GEP, which is headquartered in New Jersey, will be able to offer TrustWeaver’s eInvoicing compliance capabilities to its customers through its own services. E-invoices received through the GEP network will be able to meet tax requirements from different countries around the globe in real-time.

Basware Partners with AcceptEasy to Speed up Payments Process for Businesses

Basware the global eInvoicing business network, with headquarters in Finland, recently announced a partnership with AcceptEasy, an ePayables solution provider, to offer a complete payment solution for customers sending electronic invoices. AcceptEasy (formerly AcceptEmail), which is headquartered in the Netherlands and has offices in the Europe and the US, is a cloud-based bill service provider that enables its customers to make payments in all digital channels. Through this partnership, small businesses will be able to complete payments for their invoices that they receive digitally from Basware customers in an easier and more streamlined way, and without having to register or log-in.

Tipalti Secures $30 Million in Funding

Tipalti, the global payables automation provider, has just announced that they have received $30 million in Series C funding, led by Zeev Ventures. Tipalti has grown rapidly since its founding in 2010, with over 900,000 transactions and $4 billion in spend annually across their network of over 250 user companies. Tipalti continues to develop their solution, and we recently wrote about the addition of PO Matching to their AP workflow, after we took a briefing and product demo with their team. This latest investment brings Tipalti’s funding to over $50 million, and will be used to help continue the acceleration of their product development and increase their market presence as well.

Certify and Western Union to Partner on International Payments

Certify, a travel & expense management provider, recently announced a new collaboration with Western Union, to provide international business payments to Certify customers outside the United States. Through this collaboration, Certify, which is headquartered in Portland, Maine, will be able to offer their customers the ability to electronically remit employee expense reimbursements and vendor payments directly to their employees’ bank accounts. These payments can be made for both domestic and international transactions, in 45 different currencies. The new service, which is called Certify Payments, is powered by the Western Union Mass Payments API, and will be available for all mutual Certify and Western Union customers. The service will be able to process each currency in accordance to each country’s unique clearing system.
